Elements 8 to Elements 15

I already have Elements 8 but it has developed faults after upgrading to Sierra on my Mac.

I also use Adobe Bridge CS4.

I am considering buying Elements 15 but am concerned as to whether it will allow me to do the following which I do in Elements 8.

1. open photos from Bridge CS4 into Elements 15

2. enhance photos, e.g. lighten, darken, brightness, shapness etc.

3. re-size photos to put on my blog

4. Create photos using Layers i.e. selecting parts of one phoot to superimpose on another.

5. Create paintings using the brushes and other painting tools I am familiar with in Elements 8.

Download the trial version of Elements and run it for free for up to 30 days to ensure it does everything you want.

Once you're satisfied, then you can purchase it.

You should be able to do that with PSEv.15. Suggest that you download the free, fully functioning, 30-day trial of PSEv.15 to try it out.

Download Photoshop Elements free trial | Adobe Photoshop Elements

No need to uninstall PSE8.

Try PSE15. If you like it, buy it. If not, uninstall it and return to PSE8.

Thanks - will try. Do you think I need to uninstall Elements 8 first? My instinct says that shouldn't"t be necessary.
