Elements and Premiere Elements 2022 upgrade.

I am currently runing Photoshop Elements ver 2018 and Premiere Elements ver 14.

If I purchase the Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements 2022 upgrade, will this safely upgrade both of my current applications to the 2022 versions?

It doesn't touch older versions. Each new version does not "update" the older version, it's a brand new installation. During the installion of the newest version you are asked about importing cataloges from organizer,
