Question

Elements has stopped working - can not access it

I have PSE on my Surface tablet, and I accessed and used it just a few weeks ago.

But today, I clicked on the Icon on my tablet's screen - and I also tried opening it from with the "properties" of my JPG file  ....

I get to the opening screen, with with the "Organizer", "Photo Editor" and "Video Editor" options, but ....

When I click on the Photo Editor option I get a message, "Loading Adobe Photo Elements Workspace" it 'thinks' about it for a while ... then the message goes away, and nothing happens!

Besides this, the opening screen is filled with a bunch of crap, about buying 'moving elements; and importing new media - and there is not way to get rid of this unwanted crap, that's taking up most of the screen!

I get the impression that Adobe has "improved" this program to the point where it doesn't work and is unfriendly - and they've replaced a simply, useful program with a bunch of crap I don't want nor need, and they are more intersted in SELLING ME MORE CRAP.

Any suggestions how I can get the program to work, and get rid of the nonsense Adobe keeps throwing up in my face - to sell me on!

What version of Elements do you have?

Did you purchase it from the Microsoft Store?

It says 2022. but I can't get any more specifics, because the program doesn't open! And yes, I bought it through Adobe (I'm not sure if it was thrugh the MS store however), and I think it even downloaded an update, and it's been working up until a few weeks ago.

And now it's a worthless piece of crap, and I'm pissed at Adobe for all their marketing bullcrap, whereas they used to focus on useful programs!
