elements Organizer

Hello Greg,

I am using  a monitor 1920x1200 pixels. Not ultra wide.

I have competely un-installed (after unsubscribing) Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements 2024. I can not find if the Organizer can be un-installed, but I suppose that the Organizer is un-installed as well.

Then I re-installed Premiere Elements and the start screen appeared. And yes I could launch the organizer.

Same result. There is no window opening when I click on File Edit, Find, View or Help.

By accident I discovered another message about the Organizer in the community. It was titled:

"Elements organizer 2024 file, import, basically everything unresponsive" of a Community Beginner , May 13, 2024. 

It looks like the same sort of problem. So I clicked on the Windows maximise button of the Organizer to manually resize the Organizer window.  After that the control over the Organizer window is lost! If I try to move the window over my monitor with the mouse then it automatically switches to maximum window. Or it is jumping behind another window.

When I have the Organizer window back then it positions itself a bit downwards and as soon as I begin to move the mouse it jumps back to full screen. Now sometimes the File, Edit, Find, View or Help can be activated, but as soon as I have selected something then the Organizer window is maximizing etc.

With the Organizer window maximized (after Organizer was launched)  then I cannot quit with File - exit, because the File window does not open. When I have clicked the maximise button several times then sometimes the Organizer window is getting a bit smaller and jumps automatically to another position and then when I click on File then it opens to select File - exit. Or it maximize the screen again. Very unstable situation. You can't work with that.

Both applications Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements 2024 are working correctly. 

My system is Windows 10 64 bits 22H2 fully updated.

I have also tried  the Organizer on my laptop with Windows 11 from the startscreen of Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements 2024. There the organizer is more stable, I can make the Organizer window smaller in any size. Only in this mode I can select File, Edit, Find, View or Help  normally. But when the Organizer window is maximised then File, Edit, Find, View or Help  does not work either!

Finally I have checked the Organizer (on my pc only) of an older version of Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements . It is the 2020 version. The organizer in this package is working correctly. 

I think it is an interface problem between Windows and the Organizer of 2024.

Hopefully this issue is already known.

When the Organizer is running then I can use some buttons/menus but when I click the IMPORT button (left on top) then only the backgroundcolor in that button turns to grey but nothing happens. It does not open a window. Also the tabs on the top like File, Edit, Search etc does not work. The buttons Media, persons etc. they work. I think there is something wrong with the application. It behaves a bit strange.

The concerned organizer is part of the package 2024.

Maybe a re-install will help.
