Elements Organizer 2022 unresponsive when in full screen Windows 11

I have found that I am unable to select any options when Elements Organizer 2022 is loaded full screen. All menu items do nothing as does Import. When I switch out of full screen all seems fine. Using Windows 11.

I don't have the same problem with the Photo Editor.

Correct answer Greg_S.

What size and resolution of monitor are you using?

I don't yet have Win 11, so don't know whether it has an option to Autohide the taskbar.  If you are using this option, try turning it off.

I am having the same problem 15 months later , using windows10 and Elements 2023. Elements 2.0 was much more stable! 😮

I am working happily with a non-maximised window. I was hoping that a new version would fix the probelm, if you are using Elements 23 then I guess not fixed.

Hi. I'm working with the Auto Hide feature of the Taskbar disabled. This
workaround fixes the problem for me.

I am using auto-hide of the task bar and it does appear to cause the problem. I need to convey this information to Adobe. I will not be turning off the auto-hide as I have a working solution - a non-maximized window made as large as possible.

Only a problem with Organizer, Photo Editor is fine.

Not sure what you are expecting.

The 'Full screen' mode in the organizer (shorcuts F11 or F12) are only a browsing mode like a ready to use 'picture gallery'. You get the film strip and minimal options to create an instant 'slideshow' with very limited customization. None of the tools of the normal 'media'  view to organize or tag are available.

If you mean something else for 'full view', please describe this issue (a screenshot always helps).

I'm sorry I should have been more specific. I am refering to the Windows controls, Maximize/Restore. When I initialy open the Organizer if maximized then I cannot select any Windows menu items (File...Help) as the menus don't open. Also Import doesn't open. If I Restore the Organizer window then these items are selectable. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks for those precisions. Unfortunately, I can't help there. That may be a Windows 11 issue or one of the display problems we are seeing with different kinds of display with low or high resolution. My computers can't be updated to W11 at the moment. There are also problems with GPU (graphic adapters which may need updating).
