Elements Organizer FAILS to read PEOPLE tags in photo files

Question

I have about 100,000 photos in Windows Photo Gallery tagged with keyword metadata and with People metadata which was acquired from the Win Photo Gallery People tagging feature. Both the Keywords and the People metadata are embedded back into the original photo file. I know this because I can see it when using a Windows computer - right click>Properties>Details.

However - when I import this same photo file into the Elements organizer it will only recognize the keyword or the TAGS metadata from the file. It does not recognize the PEOPLE metadata from the file. I really, really, really don't want to re-tag 100,000 images again - I am moving to Adobe Organizer because the Windows Photo Gallery is no longer supported.

I KNOW that Photoshop Elements IS able to read this metadata because if you open the SAME photo file using the PhotoShop EDITOR go to FILE>FileInfo>Raw Data you will see the file data XML. In this Raw Data XML is all the information I need including the PEOPLE tags that don't show up in the organizer.

MY QUESTION - How can I get the organizer to recognize the PEOPLE information in the metadata of the file so it is searchable in the ORGANIZER. OR is there a way to BATCH export this XML and re-import it into the ORGANIZER so the proper metadata aligns with the proper files including PEOPLE tags.

Microsoft stores the People Tag using their custom schema, which is not read by Adobe. You can convert the People Tag region information to The Metadata Working Group (MWG) region schema which is supported by Adobe.
