Question

Elements+ Plugins

I would like to install the elements+ plugins for elements 2023.  I read somewhere, I believe in one of the photography magazine reviews that it tends to crash a lot and doesn't work that well with Nikon images.  Not sure if what I read it bogus or if there is some truth to it.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks

Why not ask the author, Andrei Doubrovski directly?

He is following that other Elements users forum:

https://photoshopelementsandmore.com/

I have never heard of any Nikon specific issue in any forum.

So, what could be the difference between Nikon and the others?

All the scripts are brand and format agnostic except for a special set which enable you to recover a number of raw commands you can issue from the normal PSE pixel editor. Working in raw with scripts means that you are accessing hidden tools in the PSE ACR converter itself. There might be issues with the NEF raw format conversion, but in this case you would also have problems outside of Elements+.

And, of course, you may be aware that there is a known bug from Nikon transfer utility which corrupts the raw file itself?

Edit:

Since you are interested in focus stacking, all the other scripts don't care about the brand of your camera. The free test version does not include the 'raw' edits, but with the paid version you should be good for all the non raw edits, and at the ridiculous low cost of the add-on, why not test it immediately yourself?
