Elements Show Changes Made

Have JPG that I would like to replicate. Can I reveal all changes made to the original? I look at history, Elements sees it as a starting file, no change events show.

When you want to record the editing workflow you might take a screenshot of the history panel before closing and saving to jpeg.

However, the usual way is to use the layers panel to store each editing step as a new layer, giving short description for each layer name. To store intermediate editing stages in a layer, you create a new layer with the shortcut Alt + Shift + Ctrl + E.

You save your file in .PSD or .TIFF format to keep the layers.

My advice is to use the ACR convervion module, not only for raw files, but even with jpegs.

All your settings are automatically saved and useable on other files.

If you closed the file and then reopened it, the history will show no previous edits.
