Elements Shutting Without Warning

Hello,

I'm having a problem with photoshop elements version 10. The program continues to shut without warning. It's also freezing while I work and giving me an error message telling me it cannot complete the request.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    First try resetting the preferences and if that doesn't work, try updating or rolling back the video driver.
