Elements Unexpected Stop When Trying to Print an Image

My platform is MacOS 10.1 (recently installed). When I try to print an image which is open in PSE, after I

size it properly, and click on the Print buttons, PSE immediately disappears and I get an error message

"Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 quit unexpectedly". I have tried restarting my computer and have tried

Quitting PSE and reopening it. I have done this about 12 times and ONCE after doing this I was able

to print successfully. Note: after upgrading to OS Sierra last week, I had to reinstall PSE 8 with the help

of the Adobe Chat service.

What can I do to fix this problem?
