Emailing from PSE

I have tried everything to try to send emails (Windows 10, gmail) I go to edit, then preferences but when I get to where there is a drop down menu...which everyone who tries to help with this issue seems to say gives options other than Outlook ...there is ONLY Outlook on the drop down.  I've tried to get a new verification code as one of your forum members suggested but I do not have a "next" button to move forward...only "yes" cancel and help. If I try to send them, only get stuck...  This is really frustrating.  I know I can export files to my desktop and then email them from there but...that's pretty stone age technically...VERY FRUSTRATING

    Perhaps it's stone age, but that's the best practice.

    - You don't run the risk of two programs exchanging data together with big security risks. Those risks explain why setting up the mail service is tricky.

    - You export your (temporary) files in a single command from the organizer, with ideal flexibility: resizing, renaming...

    - You fully use your mail service to send and manage your mails just like for other ones.

    Which version of PSE are you using?
