End run around Layers

Add photo to picture

Floating Documents must be allowed for this to work!

Click Edit > Preferences > General

Ensure that “Allow Floating Documents In Advanced Mode

box” is checked.

To prepare the photo for addition by removing background

In Guided Mode, drag and drop photo into Photo Bin

Select “Special Edits” from Toolbar

Select “Replace Background” Icon

1. Click on “Select Subject” at right of screen

2. Click on “None”

3. Save as uncompressed PNG file

Caution: Do not save as JPEG!

Switch to Advanced Mode

Drag and drop background photo into Photo Bin

Select File > Place > filename of photo

Size and place photo on background and click on check mark

Click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the main screen

Click on Flatten Image

Save the displayed photo in your desired format.
