Erasing Marker Scribbles

I would like to remove the scribbles on the face. I used the healing and clone tools to remove the marker scribbles.  Any techniques as to how I could recover the damaged picture.

    Thanks for the helpful suggestion. Unfortunately don't have another picture. The jacket etc. are easy fixes, it is only the eye and the lips that I can't get right.

    If you have another photo of the same person it would be best to replace the face and then tidy up the shirt and jacket with the clone/healing tools.
