Error: "catalog.pse 14 db"

Question

I am attempting to backup my Photoshop Elements 14 Organizer Catalog on my Apple Desk Top. I keep getting an error and can't proceed: "catalog.pse 14 db"?

After your post in the Lounge Forum (here: Re: Unsatisfactory Technical Support for Photoshop Elements 14 ) I went looking to see if you had any open support requests. I'm glad I did.

Do you get the same error if you backup the catalog to a different location than the desktop?

Have you tried working through Troubleshoot catalog issues in Elements Organizer ?
