Expert mode default

I have had my elements 12 for about 2 years now and am very happy with it. If I right click a photo and go to open with it has always opened elements up in expert. Now for some reason it goes to quick. As I edit hundreds of shots a day it is getting tedious having to click clicking to expert everytime. Can I default this to go straight to expert ?

Does that happen even if you already have the pse 12 editor open and in the Expert mode?

What operating system are you using?

Are you opening from the pse 12 organizer or windows explorer/mac finder?

Perhaps resetting the psec 12 editor preferences will resolve the issue.

Go to Edit>Preferences>General (windows) or Photoshop Elements Editor>Preferences>General (mac)

click Reset Preferences on next launch and restart the pse 12 editor.

Resetting preferences did not change anything.

Yes, the images still open when the program is already in expert mode.

I am on Windows operating system.

I am opening the images through windows explorer.

Any other suggestions ?

Which windows operating system are you using?

So if pse 12 is running already in the Expert mode, the photos open in the Expert mode, but if pse 12 is not running, then the photos open in the Quick mode?
