Export command in File Info is not working

In Photoshop Elements Editor 15, nothing happens when I open the File Info dialog for a photo and I select Export in the Template drop-down box. There is nowhere to enter a template name as described under "Save or delete metadata templates" of Photoshop Elements file information. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions how I could Export and Import of metadata in Photoshop Elements 15?

I still cannot get the File Info Template drop-down box to work in Photoshop Elements 15 for Mac. I am very disappointed with Adobe's Support. Adobe has not told me that the feature works for them on Mac in their lab. Adobe has not acknowledged the feature is indeed not working. Adobe has not responded to this problem at all. That is not support!!

It works for me I just changed my template to 2018 - see image below.

After clicking export, remove the existing file name and type a new name. Click Save and a new XMP file will be created.

Thanks.

How did you open the Export Template dialog? I am not seeing it.

And what do you mean by "I just changed my template to 2018"?

I have a template for my copyright which completes the name and website URL fields automatically.

Try starting with a file with no metadata. Complete the fields you want to use as a template and then click the dropdown arrow next to template and choose export. Choose a name e.g. MyCopyright and Save the XML file.

When you open other images choose File >> File Info

Then select import and your saved template should be available to choose.

You get three options including the ability to overwrite any existing metadata.

It’s also possible to select multiple images in Organizer and in the Information tab to the right you can choose Edit IPTC information. That enables those fields to be used on a whole batch of images using either append or overwrite.

Hi. After selecting Export from the dropdown, I do not get a prompt to enter the template filename. If I then click Ok, the dialog just closes. I've attached screenshots. Am I mistaken about how it is supposed to work? I expect to be prompted for a filename after selecting Export.
