Face Recognition stuck at 52%

Hi.

I am using Photoshop Elements 2018 on Windows 10. Indexing faces proceeded quite fast in the beginning but now it seems to be stucked. I let it run for days but still it remains at 52%. I have tried to turn it off/on and reinstalled the software. Nothing has helped. What can I do?

Specs of my computer should be more than sufficient for PE 2018

Hi Daniel,

Did you name any people stack in People Room, while the FR was running?

Also, please do mention your catalog size also i.e. the number of media in your catalog.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

My catalogue size is roughly 50.000 photos, including less than 100 videos. (200gb) - Mixed formats, raw and jpeg.

I sometimes renamed some stacks. I also moved sometimes photos from one folder to another, but this happened mostly when face and media analsys was not running, as the overall performance is usually quite bad and crashes cant be avoided. I am afraid that if I reset FR it has to work again for days and weeks and all work was for nothing.
