Face Tags

Up to now, I have used Microsoft Photo Gallery for all my face recognition, tags and organizing and its worked very well, especially giving it is free.

It is no longer supported or works on the latest version of windows 10.

I also used an old version of Photoshop for editing.

Looking at using Elements 15 to replace Photo Gallery.

Is it true that Elements will not pick up existing face recognition tags, even though they are stored inside the metadata of the photo file?

Next question, if I go to the effort of redoing all the face recognition, does it store the tags in the metadata of the files or in another database somewhere?

If so, how do I move these photos and database to another PC in the future.
