Facial Regognition Issues

I am running Adobe Photoshop Elements on a Windows 10 machine. Facial Recognition starts partially locking up as I add more photos. If you look at the faces in the Named section some of them will not respond to mouse clicks, the same with some of the Unnamed faces. I have recreated catalogs many times and the same thing happens after a while. This is very frustrating. Does anyone have a fix?

It would be helpful if you can answer following queries:

1. Which PSE version are you using?

2. Is this issue happening even on newly created catalogs?

3. Are you naming stacks while FR is running?

4. While FR is running, are you importing another batch of images?

I am running PSE 15.0.0.0

The issue happens wit's all catalogs eventually. They work ok at first then as more photos are added they start misbehaving and locking out some of the faces. In the Unnamed section.

At first I was trying to name while FR was running, but I stopped doing this for the last couple of catalogs, I still have the issue. I do not import more images until FR is finished running.

i think the lockup occurs when I am reviewing faces in the unnamed section. I will be either accepting or rejecting faces by clicking then all. Of a sudden I am dropped out of the faces and the full picture is shown instead. After this happens that face/name is locked up.

Are there any rules on how many faces or photos can be recogniced?

Apologies for the delay in response.

When you say, "Of a sudden I am dropped out of the faces and the full picture is shown instead. After this happens that face/name is locked up" , it would be helpful if you can attach a screenshot of that particular situation.

Ideally, there should not be any issue in naming stacks and importing new images when FR is ongoing. We need to understand your case and the screenshot will help in suggesting next round of steps.
