failure after installation

I get an error message which says "DirectX/Direct Play could not be initialized"  What do I do please as I cannot get into the organiser?

Hi,

Please get to control panel> Program and features> turn windows features off and on

Here look for legacy components, click on it to get it checked and make sure Direct Play is checked under it. Wait till the installation of direct X completes.

Try opening the Elements organizer after that.
