Faint lines on printed copies

Has anyone experience this problem. I have PhotoShop  Elements 12. Running it on an old system. Vista. Lately, when I print out a file or photograph there is a faint vertical line running through the print. I thought it was my printer but I email it to my sons email and the lines printed out for him to. Thanks for listening. Carla
