Bonjour, mon logicier de scanner de diapos Siverfast utilise maintenant le format JP2 . Photoshop Element 12 ne les ouvre pas.. Une version plus récente peut elle les utiliser ou les convertir? Merci

I just happened to be looking at Elements 4.0 and it could open and save jpeg 2000 files.  Although when I save a new file in this format, it saved as a .jpf file (which could not be opened in Elements 2025.)  I vaguely remember support for jpeg 2000 files being withdrawn from Elements a few versions ago.

That's JPEG 2000 which Photoshop 2025 doesn't support.

What operating system are you using?

You don't have a choice of any other file formats to save the scan as?

Unfortunately, Photoshop Elements does not support JP2(JPEG2000) files.

File formats supported by Photoshop Elements are shown here:

Photoshop
does support them but they are not widely used. I would not be saving to JP2 format from a scanner

NOTE: I ONLY HAVE VERSION 10 INSTALLED AND CAN'T GET THE PLUG-IN TO WORK WITH IT.  I can get it to work in pse 14.

Thats interesting: some sources, mainly the AI generated ones says it is compatible.  I've download some sample jp2 files, and they work fine in PSE  once you install the plugin.

I've located an old plug in for the jp2 format- and it works in PSE 2025.

The 8bi file for the plugin goes here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2025\Plug-Ins  (this is for windows)

Download the plugin from here:

Unzip it to a place you can find the copy and paste it here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2025\Plug-Ins  (this is for windows)
