Question

Fill

I opened Photoshop and it's filling with a pattern instead of a solid color. How do I get rid of the pattern? It's blue and kind of looks like bubbles. How do I get it back to a solid color? I've tried to look it up but nothing is popping up.

Hello kieras72769798 ,

It seems as though you're using the Paint Bucket Tool for filling purposes. When the tool is selected, there are 2 options to choose from:

1. Foreground Color Fill

2. Pattern Fill

The pattern fill options must be selected in your case, which is why you see bluish bubbles instead of solid fill. To change the fill type, please select the desired icon form the tool options panel at the bottom. Refer to the image for better understanding.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Medha

What version of photoshop and operating system are you using?

What tool or menu command are you using for Fill?
