Just bought Elements 18 to replace Picasa.  Kind of disappointed, expected way more from Adobe.  The facial recognition is not very good and it does not seem to learn.  Picasa was very quickly able to predict my kids from very young to adult.   I am going to spend a lot of time naming photos in groups of one or two.  I have a large photo library going back over 20 years and elements seems to have trouble dealing with it.  I certainly am not seeing all the faces i would have expected under people.  Out of frustration I started going through directories and rotating pictures that needed it.  Seems every fourth picture or so Elements crashes.  That is not going to cut it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on face recognition and sorry about the inconvenience.

We would definitely like to work on this to give you a happy experience.

About the crash, would like to know more details from you, like, Which system you are using, OS version and what is approximate size of your catalog?

Also, would be great if you can share the detailed steps when you say I started going through directories and rotating pictures that needed it. Seems every fourth picture or so Elements crashes.

Regards,

Nidhi
