Folder change upgrading to 2018

I am using PSE 15 and am thinking of upgrading to 2018. I downloaded and installed 2018 and set it to use the same catalog as PSE 15. There are almost 20,000 files and not all of them show up in 2018. The big problem is that 2018 thinks that the photos are in different folders than they are in PSE 15. The folders that show in 15 are correct. The folders that show in 2018 are the folders the photos used to be in before I moved them. How do I get 2018 to conform with 15?

    When you instal PSE2018, you are prompted to 'convert' the current PSE15  catalog. A new catalog is created in the new format and the old catalog is still working for the old PSE15. You don't need to move or to copy anything else.

    Could you explain what you did move (or copy) and how you converted the catalog?

    Elements Organizer keeps path of the original files in database and use this path to refer to those files. If the same files are present in both PSE15 and PSE2018, then the original folder location would be same. Can you please check if you are checking the folder location under "Folders" tab on left hand side panel.
