Font Issue with Greek Letters

So I want to type a Greek word with a custom font I downloaded. But when I type in Greek it automatically sets it to Sangoe UI regular. I have Photoshop Elements 21.0 . Please someone help me!

As a work-around, have a look at the Character Map App in Windows. In the dialog there is Greek letter option in the drop-down. Perhaps you can "write" the word, and copy/paste into PSE. Have the Type tool activated in PSE.

I am having the same issues, I tried so many fonts and no luck. trying to teach Greek online and not being able to write Greek is quite a problem.
