Foto-Collage: How to change the grid, i.e. the sizes and placement of frames?

The layout of photo collages seems to be rigid. I could not find an option to freely change the collage grid and cannot believe that this trivial feature is not available.

(I use Photoshop Elements 2023 on Windows 11)
