Another thing to try is to download the Adobe DNG Converter and see if it will convert your ARW files to DNG copies

which should then open in Photoshop Elements 2023.

Nu kan ik de dng foto's openen in Photo Elelements 2023. Bedankt.

Maar is dit eigenlijk niet hetzelfde dan fotograferen in jpeg of jpg, want ik zie dat het bestand in dng ca. 30 mb is en in raw ca. 65 mb. Kortom heb je bij omzetten in dng niet minder mogelijkheden om te bewerken omdat het programma dit al heeft gedaan?

Convert to DNG uses losseless compression, so that's why in most cases the file sizes are

smaller, however, according to Adobe the actual DNG is the same quality as the original raw file.

According to this your Sony A7 IV (ILCE-7M4) .ARW files should be supported in Camera Raw 14.1 and later.

If possible could you share one of the Sony A7 IV (ILCE-7M4) .ARW files using something like Dropbox so we can try it on our end?

If in the Photoshop Elements 2023 editor you go to Help>About Plug-In is Camera Raw listed and if so if you click on the words Camera Raw, what version is it?
