My photoshop elements 2024 keeps freezing so I have to force quit many many times.  How do I let Adobe know that my downloaded program is most probably defective?

If you have installed any plugins, particulalry manually, that could cause it to happen.

Start your current editor.  log out of it.
Redownload the program from your adobe account.
Uninstall the program (your organizer catalogues are safe).
Reinstall the program.

thank you; it worked to uninstall the program and then reinstall.

Has it ever worked?

Are you using the Organizer?  If so, how large is your catalog?  Have you recently added many images?

Do you have the Elements Web auto sync turned on?

What are you doing when the program freezes?

You can try contacting Elements support. You can start a chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page. (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen) Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens. (If you use my link, the chat window should open automatically.)  With your permission, Support can take control of your computer and get a better idea of what is happening to create the freeze.
