Frustrated..............

Hi there

I use PE15 on a Windows 8 laptop and have done for over a year.  My route would be open a folder, click on a jpeg photo and it would open automatically in PE15.  Photo visible on the screen. 

Now when I click on a jpeg , PE15 opens but there is no photo visible.  My jpeg files are already set to open with PE15. Please help

    Hi,

    This probably means that the "Open With" link is pointing to the Welcome screen (which is directed to the editor) rather than the editor itself.

    You say that it used to work, I'm just wondering why it stopped - have you re-installed PSE 15 recently?

    The target file should be in the folder: -

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 15

    The target file is (note: no spaces): -

    PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe

    Since you said it was set up, I am assuming that you may know how to do it. If not, I can give you instructions.

    Hi Brian,

    Sorry to have taken so long to respond.  I was too busy opening photos - ha ha.

    Thanks for taking the time to sort this out for me. 

    I found I had spaces between the words.

    Hi,

    The filename with spaces is the Welcome screen - Adobe are just trying to confuse us
