Hi

I have a DVD of Photoshop elements 22 bought from ebay. I haven't opened the package because it looks a bit different to other Adobe software packs. It is an envelope not a box and has no barcodes or hologram .

Correct answer Greg_S.

I agree with everything Glenn says.  But, from your screenshots, it seems like it is a pretty elaborate envelope to be a total fake.  Even if there is a redemption code or serial number within the envelope, I'm not sure that Adobe will accept them for that version.  Also, to be clear, Photoshop Elements 2022 is actually Elements version 20 (not 22).  I suggest you contact the eBay seller and ask about what is contained within the envelope.  That may help you get your money back if the seller provides false information.

Back with that version the redemption code / serial number was typically found on a sticker or a little insert of the package.

Serial numbers for PSE always start with 1057-- ALWAYS with versions prior to PSE 2025.
Serial numbers went away beginning with PSE 2025- it's tied into the email used for your adobe accout (which is probably the one you used to sign into this community.)

You attachments are images used for marketing of pse 2022.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SERIAL NUMBER OR REDEMPTION CODE:  You are basically out of luck.    Seening that it's not in it's original packaging is  a sign to me anyway,  that it has been previously installed.

IF YOU HAVE A REDEMPTION CODE OR A SERIAL NUMBER:  And you get a popup about it being used on two computers allready- you then are really out of luck and can toss the discs away.

IF YOU HAVE A REDEMPTION CODE / SERIAL NUMBER AND CAN GET IT REGISTERED:   Download it form your adobe account once you get it registered: those downloads tpyically have all the updates included.

IF YOU HAVE A REDEMPTION CODE:

https://redeem.licenses.adobe.com/getserial

There is a good chance you wil lsee a message about "Sorry dude, this code has been redeemed"- if you see that, then you are really out of luck.
