Get Photos From Scanner Problems

I am having a problem importing photos using my HP Scanner. Scanning is not working and Elements software totally freezes up. I have to shut down computer to restart anything.

Inspiring

Suggest that you scan using the software that came with your scanner, and saving to a folder on your desktop. Then you can open the scanned files in PSE.
