Gradients not importing

When I try to import gradients that I saved or downloaded, the preset options just duplicate instead of the gradient importing. I restarted my computer and tried reinstalling Photoshop twice, but the issue is still happening. I'm using Photoshop Elements 14 on Windows 10. Any help with this issue would be appreciated. Thanks!

What do you mean by "it still doesn't load the colors when I select it."?  Please provide us a screenshot of what you are seeing.

If I add it to the presets and select it in the dropdown menu, nothing happens (1st image). If I add try importing it, then the presets duplicate (2nd image).

How are you trying to import the files?  Are they .GRD files?  If so, copy the file to the following folder location:

C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\14.0\Presets\Gradients

The gradients should then show up under the Gradient dropdown menu.

I'm trying to import .GRD files through the + import icon. I tried what you suggested and it shows in the dropdown menu now, but it still doesn't load the colors when I select it.
