Graphics card upgrade

I need to upgrade my graphics card to give me sharper images when using Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements 2018.

Currently I have NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250

    My images are not pin sharp on my monitor.

    Now I have a Nikon DSLR that takes very good pictures and 4K video I want to be able to view them at there best.

    Viewing them on my large tv shows me they are lovely and sharp but on my monitor they are not so sharp. Don't want to make unnecessary adjustments.

    My monitor is set up correctly.

    The graphic card has NOTHING to do with sharpness, only with display speed.

    Practically, Photoshop Elements never uses the graphic card. For Premiere Elements, the graphic card is only used for a number of special effects (I don't use Premiere, rather ask in the Premiere forum: Premiere Elements ).

    Could you tell us more about your sharpness issue with your display? Which display? Size in pixels and in/cm ?
