Question

Graphics processor usage and Nvidia card compatibility

So a while back I mentioned that PSE 2018 Info panel says it is NOT using my OpenGL capable card. Today I found a program in the PSE directory called Gpusniffer.

I think it provides a clue. "Not chosen because of kernel failure" I wonder what kernel? (you have to run this program out of CMD window, if this does not make sense, dont even try it)

May be related to another post where an Adobe rep said that some problem was due to her using an Nvidia card?

As far as i know, photoshop elements has Open GL disabled on purpose and is not supposed to have

Open GL enabled except for Enhance Adjust Facial Features as specified in Preferences>Performance

and a couple of the Slideshow display options in the Organizer.
