Guided Edits - still not there! I am going round in circles

I asked the question "was the 30 day trial a full working copy" as I don't have Guided Edits (see my previous thread).  I had some replies which said to uninstall and re install.  This I have done 4 times now.  The last time, I was offered an update for RAW, so I thought I had cracked it, as hadn't been offered this previously. 

No, after all this,  I still don't have Guided Edits, just a blank screen.  I wonder what else I haven't got.

I am absolutely fed up.  I have wasted 2 days on trying to sort this and there seems to be no support, even on the support page, it just offers the community forums and sends me off in a complete circle.

Is there anyone there that can tell me why Guided Edits has not installed. I don't seem to have anything in the Quick screen either.   Come on Adobe - lets have some proper support Please!

    Your initial screenshot appeared to show the use of a guided edit because it displayed an after view. What were you doing exactly? Did you click the X symbol to close? Was there any error message?

    Did you try re-installing from the electronic software download link provided by Shaileja?

    Does your system meet the minimum requirements? What version of Windows are you using?

    Can you open an image in Expert:

    File >> Open

    Then switch to Guided

    If Jon's suggestions don't work, here are a couple of other possibilities:

    • Delete the preferences file by holding Alt-Shift-Ctrl immediately after launching the Editor and then selecting the delete option that pops up.
    • Update your graphics card.
    • Open an image in the Editor.  Then select one of the "Try This" cards from the Home Screen:

    You have got the best information and help you can get in this forum from other expert users.

    Apparently, you are the only one in the world having the issue. Never seen such issue in this forum or in the feedback one.

    By the way it's not a good idea to start another thread, without at least quoting the link to your previous question.

    You could not get much help from Adobe staff before the end of year period and anyway there is no support for trial versions. And from what you are showing, other users can't investigate what is wrong in YOUR setup. They have checked that you are using the software correctly and suggested different ways to access the Guided mode. Maybe also try to switch modes (expert and quick) to see if the first selection screen displays. It was a good idea to uninstall and reinstall, but that works when some components are missing. In this case, without any error message, I don't think anybody can reproduce your issue to search what is wrong.
