Hand Tool no longer working

Double clicking the hand tool to fit an image to screen has stopped working. Likewise I cannot 'Fit on Screen' under the View tab either. Can anyone suggest how I might fix this? Thanks

Try resetting the preferences file. Immediately after launching the program, press Alt+Shift+Ctrl. A message should pop up asking if you want to delete the Settings file. Answer OK.

Coudn't get that to bring up a message but I did then look at EDIT>GENERAL>RESET PREFENCES ON NEXT LAUNCH and it worked!!  Thank you! 🙂
