Have I a Photomerge bug?

Have Photoshop Elements 13. Enjoy using Photomerge. Now although I can still use the Hide button the Reveal button is not working. Tried all usual ploys to entice it to work, but it's not cooperating! Any ideas out there?

    Also could you try increasing the size, opacity and hardness and then apply Hide/Reveal
