Hello together,

I am not able to use Photoshop Elements or CC.

An error message comes right after starting (it's in German..means basically "CC2017 doesn't work. no solution available. You will be contacted...)

I am having a PC with Windows 10 64bit

Processor i7 4790K PC1150

Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 3 Mainboard

16GB DDR3 RAM

Saphire R9 290 Tri-X 4GB  Graphic Card

Driver Information (latest package):

Version der Radeon Einstellungen - 2016.1123.1856.34070

Treiber-Paketversion - 16.40.3211.1101-161123a1-309114E

Anbieter - Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.

2D-Treiberversion - 8.1.1.1571

Direct3D® Version - 9.14.10.01221

OpenGL® Version - 6.14.10.13456

OpenCL™ Version - 21.19.164.257

AMD Mantle-Version - 9.1.10.0163

AMD Mantle API-Version - 102400

AMD Audio-Treiberversion - 10.0.1.0

Vulkan™ Driver Version - 1.3.0

Vulkan™ API Version - 1.0.26

Any ideas how to solve the issue, beyond whats mentioned in the Adobe help?

Activating / Deactivating graphics doesnt work, so I think it's not about the graphic card.

Thx a lot!

Cheers

This is sometimes caused by a component of free anti-virus or ad-aware software which may have been installed when bundled with another product update or browser add-on. Look for errors in the crash log by going to event viewer.

    https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements-editor/using/find-crashlogs.html

    You may see something like:

    Faulting module: LavasofTcpService64.dll

If so, remove the Lavasoft program and try launching Elements again. It may be listed as Web Companion.

    • -Go to the Windows Control Panel >> Programs (Uninstall a Program)
    • -Find and select Web Companion.
    • -Click Uninstall.
