Help needed with brush spacing see photo...

Hi,Please can you help me with this issue (see photo)I am on PSE 2021 and brush settings areFade 0Hue Jitter 0Scatter 0Spacing 4Hardness 100Roundness 100Yet still getting this interrupted brush stroke, any help would be appreciated Ann

You don't say what you are trying to do with the brush.
You don't say what the actual brush is.
All brushes are not created equal.
Without a pressure sensitive tablet photshop elements has to "fake" some brush stuff.

View your brush strokes at 100%.
Reduce your spacing to 1 (PSE can't have a spacing value of 0).

Brushes work really well with different colors in the foreground and background- different but close.
Don't be afraid to use bigger fade values.

I think the average user uses a brush as a stamp, and not a brush.
