Help, program will not fully load and then crashes!

Hello,

I purchased adobe elements 11 last year and it has updated to elements 12 it has been working fine up until recently.  When I open it, it does not fully load and then it crashes.  I have been trying to find a resolution to the issue for over a week now to no avail.  I have sent an email to Adobe and called Adobe and had no luck at all with either avenue.  Please help me to resolve this issue asap.

    Is Elements Organizer crashing or Editor?

    Which OS are you working on?

    Hello,

    thank you for getting back to me!

    I am not sure of the os system I am running, I think it might be windows 10

    and it is the editing program that is crashing

    Please try clearing preferences once.

    To do so, Keep Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys pressed while launching Editor.

    A dialog will pop up asking to Delete Settings file. Say Yes.

    Let us know if issue still exists.
