help with black getting printed on transparancy paper

Hi I am using Photoshop elements 13 to print gobos on transparency paper , the problem I have is the black background appears to be a shade of red on the transparency paper and not completely black , I need it total black background , my printer is hp envoy 5530 thanks if anyone can help.im projection the gobos or personal image projections from a 60 watt projector so the blacker the background the better

    You can simply scan the gobo with the red background into your PC.

    Use the Magic Wand tool, with the Contiguous box unchecked, to select the red.

    Then fill the selection with black.  In this example I duplicated the original gobo so you can see the before-after.

    If this is not your situation please clarify.
