How can I retrieve my photos from Elements 2013 on another computer?

When I pull up a catalog, all the pictures have question marks on them and it says they cannot be found. 

I am panicked! I had scanned pictures from my grandmother in the early 1900's! That is the only record now!

Can someone please help?

    If I understand you correctly, you have moved your catalog folder from one computer to another.  The catalog does not contain the photos themselves.  I suggest you follow the instructions in this HelpX Article which explains how to backup and restore a catalog (and photo files) from one computer to another.

      Your images are 100% safe (MOSTLY).  The catalogue is nothing more than a listing of the images, and where they are located, along with a thumbnail of each image. 

      The question mark?  Typically means you moved the images--- you changed their location from where they where when you created the catalogue they were in.

      AN EXAMPLE OF THAT:  The images were on your main hard drive.  You copied all the images and pasted them onto a different hard drive. 

      ANOTHER EXAMPLE: The images were on a thumb drive, and an external hard drive, and you unpluged / disconnected whatever they were on.
