Question

How do I copy album files in same order as they are arranged?

I have Photo Shop Elements 13 and am using an ASUS Z54C computer running Windows 7.  I have arranged photos in various albums and would like to copy them to a flash drive in the sequence that I have arranged them.  When I copy an album the photos are all in disarray.  I cannot find a setting to over ride and copy in the sequence that I have placed the photos. I have sorted through thousands of photos requiring many hours of work. I am frustrated that there is no telephone support. Can anyone help me?

Whatever browsing software you are using is sorting files according to various file properties like filename, date etc. Any 'custom' order like in an album is like a 'playlist' stored in the catalog. It's not a property of the files themselves.

So, the only way to keep the 'custom' sort order is to rename the files with a sequential file name. You can export the files and any other browsing software will be able to display according to filename.
