I have successfully applied a bevel to a square but wish to darken the darker edges. How do I achieve this? Thanks

Correct answer hatstead

With the bevel applied:

Set your foreground color chip to black

Go to Select>all

Open a blank layer at the top

Go to Edit>stroke(outline) selection. Select the stroke width, place stroke inside, apply

This will place the stroke on a separate layer and you can adjust the layer opacity to suit in the layers palette

Thanks for the quick response.

Got me 90% of the way there and I could easily figure the rest out. I only wanted to darken the two darker edges but simply eraing the two sided i didn't want, gave me the desired effect.

Many thanks
