How do I go into full screen mode in Photoshop Elements 2024 on Windows 11?

When I'm working in Photoshop Elements I want to be able to go into full screen mode, i.e nothing else shows on the screen except Photoshop.

 

F11/Tab doesn't work and searching these forums I can't find any solution. 

Surely by now in Elements 2024 there would be an option in Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements to have these apps go into a full screen mode?

 

Hiding the task bar is not a solution for me. I just want a shortcut I can use inside Photoshop Elements 2024.

And I'm not sure what your use case is, but does auto-hiding the taskbar fit your needs?

Just press the Tab key.  All tools and panels will be removed from view.  Press Shift-Tab and the tools will remain visible.  These keyboard shortcuts toggle the operation on and off.

 

Or are you trying to remove the taskbar and window frame from view?  If so, that is not a possibility.

As I mentioned, pressing the Tab key doesn't work, it still shows the taskbar in Windows.

Do any of these help?

  • Windows key + M: Minimize all open windows.
  • Windows key + Shift + M: Restore minimized windows.
  • Windows key + Home: Minimize all windows except the selected or currently active window.
  • Windows key + Up arrow: Maximize selected window.
  • Windows key + Shift + Up arrow: Maximizes the active window vertically while maintaining its width.
  • Windows key + Down arrow: Minimize selected window.
  • Windows key + Left arrow: Snap selected window to the left half of the screen.
  • Windows key + Right arrow: Snap selected window to the right half of the screen.
  • Windows key + Alt + Up: Snap selected window to top half of the screen.
  • Windows key + Alt + Down: Snap selected window to bottom half of the screen.
  • Windows key + Shift + Left arrow or Right arrow: Move selected window to the left or right monitor.
  • Windows key + Tab: Open Task view (virtual desktops).
  • Windows key + Ctrl + 😧 Add new virtual desktop.
  • Windows key + Ctrl + Right arrow: Move to the next virtual desktop (to the right).
  • Windows key + Ctrl + Left arrow: Move to the previous virtual desktop (to the left).
  • Windows key + Ctrl + F4: Close current virtual desktop.
