How do I sign out after changing my email address?

I have a few older versions of Photoshop & Premeire Elements I would like to sign out of before recycling the computer, but it won't let me. I have changed my email address on my Adobe account. The sign-out dialog box still has my old address, and when I click "Sign out", I get a message "Please connect to the Internet and retry. Unalbe to sign out." How can I sign out?

Please go to Adobe Customer Service and only ask to have your activations reset. (Make sure to sign in to your Adobe account first and allow popups and cookies on your browser.
