How do I transfer Elements information to my new computer, (Tags, face recognition, etc.)

Question

I'll try to keep this short. Ha. Old computer has PSE 10. New computer has PSE 15. Photos on old computer were on C drive. Photos on new computer are on E drive. All photos have been copied to the new computer.

How can I get the information for the photos to the new computer. That is names of people in the photos, titles, tags, face recognition, etc.

I did see an article on doing a backup and restore to a new computer, but the photos are now on E, not C.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Larry,Yes; you have to use the backup and restore to custom location. That means you choose the drive or the master folder in your new computer.Move Elements Organizer catalog | Elements 6 or laterYou don't have to copy your files before that process: it takes care of copying the photo folder tree and the catalog.
