How does Photoshop handle deleted photos?

Many times I'll take a photo and work with. When this happens I see the original and the edited image on Organizer. Both pictures are in the same folder. I then delete the original, but I still see it in Orgainizer. How do I sync or update Organizer? I'm sure we all clean out photos from time to time. Thanks.

Hi,

You can delete it from Organizer using below steps:

1. Select images to be deleted

2. Righ click and select 'Delete selected items from Catalog'

3. A dialog box appears asking for confirmation.

4. If you select 'Also delete selected item from harddisk', files will get deleted from original location too, otherwise they will be deleted from catalog only.

I am having the same problem since updating to 2020. THe hard drive copy is deleted but the original is still showing in the Organiser as a missing file. See my yesterdays post.
