How to activate Photoshop Elements 2020

Question

I have downloaded Elements 2020 on my Mac High Sierra, using the serial number on a DVD bought on Amazon in France. The version I downloaded is in US English.

My problem is that I cannot activate it. I try to fill in my serial number but the numbers do not appear and I am asked for a Redemption code, which I simply do not have - perhaps Amazon in the US provides this code but French Amazon does not; only the Serial Number is given with the DVD.

How can I activate the software?

When you first install the program, you are given an opportunity to set the language to French (if that is what you want to do). If the program is already installed with an English interface, you need to uninstall and reinstall again to make the language change.

As for the serial number, have you registered the program in your Adobe.com account? If so, you should find the correct serial number on the Products page of your account. You will have to sign in with the credentials that you originally used to register the account.
